राठ; उत्पाती बंदर की होशियारी काम न आई, हुआ पिंजरे में कैद

हमीरपुर जनपद के राठ नगर में एक बंदर जमकर उत्पात मचाए हुए था। अभी तक यह बंदर करीब एक दर्जन लोगों को काट कर जख्मी कर चुका है। वन विभाग के कर्मचारी जब भी बंदर को पकड़ने का प्रयास करते वह चकमा देकर भाग निकलता। आखिर थक हार कर वन विभाग की टीम ने मोहल्ले में पिंजरा रखा दिया। सोमवार सुबह बंदर की होशियारी ने ही उसे पिंजरे में कैद कर दिया।

राठ नगर के चरखारी रोड सिकंदरपुरा मोहल्ले में बीते करीब एक माह से एक बंदर उत्पात मचाये था। घरों में घुस कर तोड़फोड़ करने के साथ ही लोगों पर हमला भी बोल देता था। बंदर की दहशत से लोग घरों की छत पर भी नहीं जा रहे थे। यह बंदर अभी तक करीब एक दर्जन लोगों को जख्मी कर चुका है। शिकायत मिलने पर वन विभाग की टीम ने कई बार बंदर को पकड़ने का प्रयास किया। किंतु उत्पाती बंदर टीम को चकमा देने में कामयाब रहता था।

वन क्षेत्राधिकारी आरबी कैथल ने बताया कि बंदर को पकड़ने के लिए रविवार को मोहल्ले में पिंजरा रखा गया था। सोमवार सुबह उछलकूद मचा रहा बंदर पिंजरे में कैद हो गया। जिसके बाद लोगों ने राहत की सांस ली। पिंजरे में कैद बंदर को देखने के लिए मौके पर लोगों की भीड़ जुट गई। वन क्षेत्राधिकारी ने बताया कि बंदर को जंगल में छोड़ दिया जाएगा। वन विभाग की टीम में वन दरोगा भीकम दास, वन रक्षक शोभाराम, बाबू ह्रदेश कुमार, अब्दुल आदि शामिल रहे।
