जंगल से भटका बारहसिंघा, कुत्तों के हमले से हुआ घायल

हमीरपुर जनपद के सरीला में जंगलों से भटकते हुए बस्ती में पहुंचे बाहरसिंहा पर कुत्तों ने हमला कर दिया। जान बचाकर भागते समय वह कंटीले तारों में फंस गया। ग्रामीणों की सूचना पर पहुंची वन विभाग की टीम ने कब्जे में लेकर इलाज कराया।

सरीला क्षेत्र में बेतवा नदी की तलहटी में घने जंगल हैं। जिनमें अन्य वन जीवों के साथ हिरण भी पाए जाते हैं। अक्सर यह हिरन जंगलों से निकल कर आबादी के बीच पहुंच जाते हैं। रविवार शाम भी ऐसा ही मामला सामने आया। जब जंगलों से भटकता हुआ बारहसिंघा हिरन धगवां गांव के लल्लू के डेरा पहुंच गया। हिरण को देख कुत्तों ने उस पर हमला बोल दिया।

अपनी जान बचाकर भागते समय हिरन खेतों में लगे कंटीले तारों में फंस गया। जिसके बाद कुत्तों की मौज हो गई और उसे जमकर नोचा। ग्रामीणों ने किसी तरह कुत्तों को भगा कर वन विभाग को सूचना दी। वन क्षेत्राधिकारी प्रवीण गुप्ता ने बताया हिरण को सरीला ले गए। जहां पशु चिकित्सकों से उसका इलाज कराया जा रहा है। कहा उपचार के बाद उसे जंगल में छोड़ दिया जाएगा।
