हमीरपुर; एक साल पहले मृत हुआ वृद्ध बोल उठा, साहब ! में अभी जिंदा हूँ

कहते हैं कि सरकारी कलम की मार से कोई नहीं बच सकता। ऐसा ही कुछ कारनामा देखने को मिला उत्तर प्रदेश में हमीरपुर जनपद के राठ नगर में। जहां लेखपाल द्वारा एक जिंदा व्यक्ति को कागजों में मृत दिखा दिया गया। सरकार की नजरों में उसकी मौत हो जाने के बाद भरण पोषण के लिए मिलने वाली वृद्धावस्था पेंशन भी बंद हो गई। भले ही वह हकीकत में अभी जिंदा हो पर पेंशन बंद होने के कारण भुखमरी के चलते मौत की खबर को जरूर पहुंच गया है। मजबूर लाचार वृद्ध एक साल से खुद को जिंदा बताते हुए अधिकारियों की चौखट पर माथा रगड़ रहा है। पर सरकारी महकमा उसे जिंदा मानने को तैयार ही नहीं है।

राठ नगर के दिवानपुरा मोहल्ला निवासी ओमप्रकाश अग्रवाल (62) ने बताया कि वह एक प्राइवेट विद्यालय में अध्यापन कार्य करते रहे हैं। कोरोना संक्रमण के कारण डेढ़ साल से काम बंद है। जनवरी 2020 से जून 2020 तक वृद्धावस्था पेंशन प्राप्त हुई। जून के बाद उनके खाते में पेंशन नहीं आई। अक्टूबर माह में पेंशन बंद होने की जानकारी ली। समाज कल्याण विभाग से पता चला कि लेखपाल योगेंद्र पटेल ने सत्यापन में उन्हें मृत दर्शा दिया है। जिसके चलते उनकी पेंशन बंद कर दी गई है। अक्टूबर 2020 से खुद को जीवित साबित करने के लिए अधिकारियों के चक्कर लगा रहे हैं। अक्टूबर 2020 में जिला समाज कल्याण अधिकारी ने लेखपाल की गलती बताते हुए वृद्ध की पेंशन दोबारा चालू करने का पत्र जारी किया था।

अधिकारी के दखल के बावजूद आज तक वृद्ध सरकारी कागजों में जिंदा नहीं हो पाए हैं। जिससे उनकी रुकी हुई पेंशन चालू नहीं हो पायी है । उन्होंने बताया कि उनकी कोई संतान नहीं है। घर में वह और उनकी पत्नी मात्र दो प्राणी हैं। आमदनी का भी कोई श्रोत नहीं है। सरकारी राशन से किसी तरह अपना व अपनी पत्नी का पेट भरते हैं। अन्य खर्चों के लिए वृद्धावस्था पेंशन ही एकमात्र सहारा थी। पत्नी सरोज मानसिक रोगी हैं। जिनका ग्वालियर के अस्पताल का इलाज चल रहा है। आर्थिक अभाव में पत्नी का इलाज भी ठप चल रहा है। वृद्ध ने उच्चाधिकारियों को पत्र भेजते हुए पेंशन दिलाने की गुहार लगाई है।
