हमीरपुर जनपद के राठ नगर में आग की लपटें छोड़ती सड़क पर दौड़ रही बस को देख हड़कंप मच गया। बस में अचानक आग लग गई थी। चालक ने नीचे कूद कर अपनी जान बचाई। सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस व फायर ब्रिगेड की टीम ने आग बुझाई। तब तक बस बुरी तरह से जल चुकी थी। वहीं बस में सवारियां न होने से बड़ा हादसा टल गया।
राठ नगर के जीतेंद्र राजपूत ने बताया वह बस संचालक हैं। उनकी बस चंडौत मार्ग पर सवारियां लेकर चलती है। बताया सोमवार दोपहर में उरई रोड पर नहर बाईपास से बस में बैल्डिंग कराई थी। जहां से चालक बस लेकर अपने नंबर पर लगाने जा रहा था। तभी अचानक रास्ते में चलती बस से आग की लपटें निकलने लगीं। यह देख चालक ने बस सड़क किनारे लगाई और कूद कर अपनी जान बचाई।
कुछ ही देर में बस धू धू कर जलने लगी। सड़क पर खड़ी बस से आग की लपटें निकलतीं देख वहां लोगों की भीड़ लग गई। सूचना पर फायर ब्रिगेड व पुलिस मौके पर पहुंच गई। जब तक आग बुझाई गई बस बुरी तरह से जल चुकी थी। जीतेंद्र ने आशंका जताई कि बताया बेल्डिंग की चिंगारी हवा के जोर से सुलगने लगी होगी। जिसके चलते बस में आग लगी। कहा आग से उन्हें करीब दो लाख रुपये का नुकसान हुआ है।
