राठ; दीपा तालाब से निकल रही थी भीषण दुर्गंध, कारण जान कर सब रह गए हैरान

हमारी लापरवाही का खामियाजा हमारे साथ ही दूसरे लोगों को भुगतना पड़ता है। फिर भी हम लापरवाही करने से बाज नहीं आते। ऐसा ही एक मामला हमीरपुर जनपद के राठ नगर में देखने को मिला। जहां एक प्राचीन तालाब से निकलने वाली भीषण दुर्गंध से मोहल्ले के लोग व राहगीर परेशान थे। इस दुर्गंध से गंभीर संक्रामक बीमारियां फैलने का खतरा बढ़ता जा रहा था। जिसकी जानकारी होने पर नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष प्रतिनिधि शुभांकर बुधौलिया अपनी टीम के साथ मौके पर पहुंच गए। तालाब के निरीक्षण के दौरान लोगों की शर्मनाक करतूत सामने आई।

राठ नगर में अनेक महाभारतकालीन तालाब हैं। ऐतिहासिक महत्व के यह तालाब सदियों से उपेक्षा का शिकार रहे हैं। इन तालाबों की दुर्दशा में शासन प्रशासन के साथ ही यहां के नागरिकों का भी बहुत पड़ा हाथ है। लोगों ने इन तालाबों पर अवैध कब्जा करने के साथ ही इन्हें कचरे से पाट दिया है। पूज्यनीय कहे जाने वाले जलाशय आज कचरा घर बनते जा रहे हैं। अतरौलिया मोहल्ला स्थित ऐतिहासिक दीपा तालाब को भी लोगों ने कचरे से पाट दिया था। तालाब में पड़ा कचरा सड़ने पर उससे भीषण दुर्गंध निकलने लगी। जिसकी जानकारी होने पर नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष प्रतिनिधि शुभांकर बुधौलिया ने अपनी मौजूदगी में तालाब की सफाई कराई। जिसके बाद लोगों को बदबू से निजात मिल सकी।

अध्यक्ष प्रतिनिधि शुभांकर बुधौलिया ने कहा कि अपने कार्यकाल में नगर की सफाई व प्रकाश व्यवस्था पर विशेष ध्यान दिया है। कचरा फेकने के लिए लोगों के दरवाजों पर प्रतिदिन कचरा गाड़ीं पहुंच रहीं हैं। इसके बावजूद लोग गली-मोहल्लों, खाली पड़े प्लाटों व तालाबों को कचरा घर बनाए हुए हैं। उन्होंने लोगों को सार्वजनिक स्थान पर कचरा न फेक कर कचरा गाड़ी में ही डालने के लिए जागरूक किया। शुभांकर ने बताया कि सागर तालाब के सुंदरीकरण का कार्य बराबर जारी है। जल्द ही नगर के अन्य तालाबों का सुंदरीकरण भी कराया जाएगा। इसके लिए नगर के लोगों को भी सहयोग करते हुए स्वच्छता पर विशेष ध्यान देना होगा।
