हमीरपुर में चरवाहे को नदी किनारे मिले मुगलकालीन 11 सिक्के

हमीरपुर जनपद के मौदहा थाना क्षेत्र में चंद्रावल नदी के तट पर चरवाहे को पीली धातु के कुछ सिक्के मिले। यह सिक्के मुगलकालीन बताए जा रहे हैं। जिनमें अरेबिक व पारसियन भाषा में कुछ लिखा हुआ है। जानकारी मिलते ही नदी घाट पर सिक्कों की तलाश में ग्रामीणों की भीड़ जुट गई। सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने सभी सिक्के अपने कब्जे में लेकर जिला मुख्यालय पहुंचा दिया। इन सिक्कों पर पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग शोध करेगा।
मौदहा में सिसोलर थाना क्षेत्र के परेहटा गांव निवासी दीनदयाल श्रीवास शुक्रवार सुबह चंद्रावल नदी के तट पर अपने जानवर चरा रहे थे। नदी किनारे कोई पीली धातु चमकती दिखी। उत्सुकतावश उन्होंने अपने हाथ में लिए लकड़ी से उस जगह की मिट्टी हटाई। जहां उन्हें सिक्का दिखाई दिया। वह मिट्टी हटाते गए और जमीन से सिक्के निकलते गए। दीनदयाल को नदी तट से कुल 11 पीली धातु के सिक्के मिले। सिक्के मिलने की खबर पूरे गांव में फैल गई। मौके पर ग्रामीणों की भीड़ इकट्ठा होने लगी।
प्राचीन सिक्के मिलने की सूचना पर सिसोलर थाना पुलिस भी मौके पर पहुंच गई। दीनदयाल श्रीवास ने सभी सिक्के पुलिस को सौंप दिए। जिन्हें थाना पुलिस ने जिला मुख्यालय भेज दिया है। सिसोलर एसओ सुरेश कुमार सैनी ने बताया पीली धातु के सिक्कों पर पारसियन व अरेबिक भाषा में कुछ लिखा हुआ है। बताया सिक्के किस काल के हैं यह अभी नहीं कहा जा सकता। सिक्कों को पुरातत्व विभाग में भेजा जाएगा। जहां अनुसंधान के बाद ही उनके बारे में कोई ठोस जानकारी उपलब्ध हो पाएगी।
