बता दें कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी नीलू महाराज वर्षों से रोहनियां मंदिर के आस्तित्व की लड़ाई लड़ रहे हैं। राठ के रामलीला मैदान के समीप स्थित रोहनियां मंदिर प्राचीन व पुरातत्व महत्व का है। नीलू महाराज इसी मंदिर के संरक्षक हैं व न्यायालय के माध्यम से मंदिर के हक की लड़ाई लड़ रहे हैं। मंदिर में ही मौन साधना केंद्र भी संचालित करते हैं।
