आगरा: कोरोना वायरस की एक बार फिर वापसी हो चुकी है। ताज़ा मामला आगरा से आया है, जहां फिरोजाबाद निवासी एक बुजुर्ग मरीज की कोरोना संक्रमण से मौत हो गई। यह आगरा में कोविड-19 से हुई पहली मौत है। बावजूद इसके, स्वास्थ्य विभाग की नींद अब तक नहीं टूटी है। न तो किसी नए जांच केंद्र की शुरुआत हुई है और न ही कोई आइसोलेशन वार्ड तैयार किया गया है।

मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी (CMO) अरुण श्रीवास्तव का कहना है कि “फिलहाल किसी तरह की नई गाइडलाइन नहीं आई है। हम केवल एहतियात बरत रहे हैं।” लेकिन सवाल यह उठता है कि जब प्रदेश के नोएडा, गाजियाबाद, जालौन और अब फिरोजाबाद में संक्रमण बढ़ रहा है, तो आगरा में तैयारी क्यों नहीं की जा रही?
कोरोना जांच सिर्फ SN मेडिकल कॉलेज में
कोविड-19 जांच की सुविधा अभी सिर्फ एसएन मेडिकल कॉलेज की वायरोलॉजी लैब में है। जिले में कहीं और कोरोना टेस्ट कराने की सुविधा नहीं है। इससे उन लोगों को परेशानी होगी जो सामान्य सर्दी-जुकाम या बुखार जैसे लक्षणों के साथ सामने आ रहे हैं।
फ्लू जैसे लक्षणों के मरीजों के लिए ओपीडी में अलग से कोई वार्ड शुरू नहीं किया गया है। महामारी के समय बनाए गए आइसोलेशन वार्ड अब सामान्य वार्ड में बदल चुके हैं।
