Hamirpur: वर्ष 2025 विदाई पर है और नए साल 2026 के स्वागत की तैयारियाँ जारी हैं। लेकिन जब पीछे मुड़कर देखते हैं, तो राठ की अधूरी विकास योजनाएँ मन में सवाल खड़े कर देती हैं। बड़े-बड़े वादे आज भी कागज़ों में सिमटे पड़े हैं — और जनता को ज़मीनी हकीकत का इंतज़ार अब भी जारी है।
मौदहा बांध से पेयजल परियोजना, रोडवेज डिपो का आधुनिकीकरण, राजकीय महाविद्यालय का निर्माण — सब कुछ आधा-अधूरा ही रह गया।

चार साल बाद भी अधूरा राजकीय महाविद्यालय
8.47 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनने वाला राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलान्यास के चार साल बाद भी अधूरा पड़ा है।
1 अक्टूबर 2020 को शिलान्यास किया गया था, लेकिन 2021 की डेडलाइन बीत जाने के बाद भी:
- भवन अधूरा
- झाड़ियाँ उगी हुई
- बाउंड्रीवाल भी अधूरी
विधायक मनीषा अनुरागी के अनुसार, हाईकोर्ट के स्टे ऑर्डर के कारण निर्माण रुका है और अनुमति मिलते ही काम पूरा कराया जाएगा।

अधूरी परियोजना से शुद्ध पेयजल का सपना टूटा
नया साल 2026 आने वाला है, लेकिन शहर अभी भी 1956 की जर्जर पेयजल योजना पर निर्भर है। 2013 में मौदहा बांध पेयजल योजना का सपना दिखाया गया था।
परियोजना में शामिल था:
- इंटकवेल
- वाटर ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट
- 3 ओवरहेड टैंक
- 121 किमी पाइपलाइन
94 करोड़ 34 लाख रुपये स्वीकृत हुए — और 20 करोड़ जारी भी हो गए। फिर भी केवल 20% काम ही पूरा हो पाया।

रोडवेज डिपो: आज भी बदहाल सुविधाएँ
राठ रोडवेज डिपो, जो जनपद में सबसे ज्यादा आमदनी देता है, बदहाली से जूझ रहा है:
- परिसर में जलभराव और कीचड़
- पेयजल और शौचालय की सुविधाएँ लगभग ध्वस्त
- यात्रियों को भारी दिक्कत
2018 में इसे टर्मिनल डिपो की सूची में शामिल किया गया था, लेकिन अब तक सिर्फ़ वर्कशॉप का काम हो पाया।

कागजों पर चली रेल, विश्वविद्यालय का अधूरा सपना
करीब चार दशक से राठ को रेलवे लाइन से जोड़ने की मांग जारी है। 2017 में रेलवे लाइन शुरू कराने का वादा हुआ — लेकिन आज भी कागज़ों से आगे नहीं बढ़ पाया।
इसी तरह, ब्रह्मानंद महाविद्यालय को विश्वविद्यालय का दर्जा देने का वादा भी अधूरा रह गया।
जिला बनाने की मांग भी साल-दर-साल दोहराई जाती रही — पर फैसले अब भी लंबित हैं।
